Monarch Dentistry isn’t just composed of a single office, but rather a group of offices in Southern Ontario. To provide you with high-quality service at a dentist near you, we also have an office in Mississauga – Streetsville.

At Monarch Dentistry, we offer a wide range of services like fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, and cosmetic procedures like whitening. We have the training and experience to perform all of these procedures, and more, expertly.

Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are very common, and you’re probably familiar with them. When a person develops a cavity in one of their teeth, a dental filling can be placed to replace the missing dental tissue. Fillings aren’t just placeholders, as they have several values.

The first is that they provide structural support for your teeth. Imagine a solid object that has been hollowed out. Naturally, it’s now more vulnerable to trauma and damage. Fillings are placed for support so that your teeth aren’t hollowed out.

Another important attribute is that fillings make it harder for bacteria to keep damaging a tooth. Bacteria usually inhabit cavities and are the reason behind the decay. Once we clean a tooth and put in a filling, bacteria won’t have space to grow or even live.

Restorative Procedures

Preserving a tooth isn’t always possible. Sometimes the damage is too much for it to remain viable, and removing it becomes the best option. A missing tooth can cause many issues for your oral cavity and make chewing and speaking hard.

We have some very efficient methods of replacing missing teeth. These include bridges, implants, and others. Bridges were the go-to method for replacing teeth, but ever since implants were made, they started to steal the spotlight from bridges.

A bridge is a replacement tooth that is supported in place on either side by crowns applied to adjacent healthy teeth. The idea of an implant is that we place a titanium screw into your jaw bone then apply a fake tooth to the screw. Both are great cosmetically and functionally.

We don’t want you to worry about pain either because we always use anesthesia before we begin working.
